Salmon Fishing

Renowned throughout New Zealand as one of the best salmon fishing rivers, the Rakaia River is only a short distance away.
With easy access and excellent surroundings this popular river has produced numerous salmon in the 
regions of ten lb to thirty lbs.
For all types of angling in New Zealand, a New Zealand fishing license is required. Fishing licenses are available from local sporting shops and the local fish and game office.
