HAVILL'S MEAD IS BOTH ORGANIC AND NATURAL.

It is brewed to Mother Natures original 150 million year old recipe.

For the past thirty years we have produced our Mead to stricter self imposed rules than those applied by today's "Come lately" organic regulators for wine products.

Both the honey and the end product, Havill's Authentic Mead are better than organic being made from honey water and yeast and sometimes yeast nutrients.

It is not pasteurized or super filtered and does not contain any fruit or vegetables, herbs or spices.
It does not contain any Sulphur Dioxide (220) (ALLOWED IN NEW ZEALAND ORGANIC WINES). It is also Potassium Sorbate (202) Asorbic Acid (300), chemical, antibiotic and preservative free.
