» Stewart Island Luxury Lodge - Luxury Lodges

Stewart Island luxury lodge accommodation in halfmoon bay.
An unspoiled Island retreat nestled in the natural beauty of a bush setting in Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island Lodge has unsurpassed views of the bay and surrounding hills.
The large garden is host to many native birds, including native parrots, and many birds can be viewed right from our terrace.
Providing a very high standard of comfort, all the rooms at Stewart Island Luxury Lodge have ensuite (bath and shower), central heating, supa king size or twin beds with goose down duvets and electric blankets - and best of all beautiful views. Enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee and fruit juice, plus a tin of home-made biscuits (refilled daily).
Getting there:
Stewart Island Marine (Ferry Schedule) operates a Catamaran from Bluff - Stewart Island, 60 minutes travelling time (scheduled service morning & afternoon) Southern Air (Flight Schedule) operates from Invercargill - Stewart Island, 20 minutes (Several flights daily)
Meals (often described as gourmet) are gathered as much as possible from our own large garden and glass house. We use fresh local seafood including salmon, oysters and crayfish. The wines are New Zealand's, with an emphasis on the Chard Farm vineyard (Central Otago region near Queenstown) to give you a chance to try Southern climate wines.
