Welcome to our Queenstown Alpine Retreat

Your Lodge Hosts, Marilyn and Mike & family (including Lochie a West Highland White terrier) welcome you to their Alpine retreat. They originated from southern New Zealand and have returned to the area having spent 20 years in corporate life, much of which was abroad. They have a wealth of knowledge of the area and are only too happy to share this with you and assist in planning your holiday in the district.

Mike is a particularly keen outdoors person and is either happy to take you fishing on the Lake from our private beach (boat and tackle complimentary) or tailor make suggestions on other activities more suited to your taste in the region. He can also smoke your catch or arrange with Marilyn to prepare it as part of your evening meal.
As a seasoned traveller, Marilyn is only too aware of the needs of travellers. she will ensure that your stay at the Lodge runs smoothly and that you get all the action and or relaxation you desire while on holiday. She has taken great care to ensure that your accommodation and delicious breakfasts meet the highest standards fpr which New Zealand hosts are world renown.

Each of the four tastefully decorated rooms have stunning views of the lake and mountains. The beds have quality linen with bathrobes and toiletries in the ensuites. The Coronet suite has it's own spa bath. There are laundry and drying facilities for skiers.

Situated on 1.5 acres of Lakefront park, the Lakehouse Lodge has 3 luxury ensuites and 1 premium suite, (The Coronet Suite)

- All are just 50 metres from the lake and have elevated lake & mountain views
- All have ensuite bathe room and the Coronet Suite has a private spa tub.
- Each suite has quality linen, wool underlays, electric blankets, television, robes, ironing and tea & coffee making facilities.

The lodge overlooks the Lake Hayes Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary, with expansive views directly up to Coronet Peak ski field - yet it is just 10 minutes walk from downtown Queenstown, many more adventures are on your doorstep - Bungy jumping, White water rafting, Speed boating and Fishing, 5 minutes from Millbrook Resort and 3 other golf courses.
